Kathryn (“Katie” for short), a native of northeast Baltimore County, is an occupational therapist by trade. She grew up in a family with her parents and sister who were always caring for dogs, cats, and even Guinea pigs. Katie moved around to a few other areas in central and east Baltimore County, MD before settling in Bel Air (Harford County, MD) with her husband, Kris.

Katie's mom, an occupational therapist herself, had a stroke in 2009 requiring a bout of intense rehab to recover. Watching her mom interact with the therapists at rehab inspired Katie to enter the therapy world. Katie graduated from Towson University in 2015 with her Bachelors and Masters in Occupational Therapy and began her career at a skilled nursing facility in Baltimore City. Eventually Katie transitioned to treating older adults in their home. Here she discovered her passion to help individuals live their best lives in their own homes successfully (aging in place).

Unfortunately, many face challenges following their dreams to age in their own homes requiring them to move to assisted living facilities or in with their adult children. Katie aims to help educate and assist those who have the dream to age in place so that they can avoid any potential challenges.

Katie and her husband, Kris, met in high school. Through the years they’ve learned to enjoy all the adventures that come their way. They love to travel, hike, and watch football together. Recently, Katie and Kris welcomed their first son to the family- their biggest adventure yet! When not caring for her clients or hanging with her family you can find Katie running, usually with the incredible people of the Athletes Serving Athletes organization.

All of Katie’s experiences molded Katie’s passion, dedication, and creativity. Katie will use her problem-solving skills from her healthcare background to help you find and stay in your dream home.
